Tafsir	The Treachery of the Hypocrites and the Attitude of the Believers
Bottom Line	Leaving your home, going out and emigrating are euphemisms for joining the Jihad, which is offensive warfare.  Hypocrites are “moderate” Muslims who do not want to  join the Jihad.  This receives explicit expression in  9:38.

Islam: Religion of peace.	22:78 And strive hard in Allah’s Cause as you ought to strive (with sincerity and with all your efforts that His Name should be superior). He has chosen you (to convey His Message of Islamic Monotheism to mankind by inviting them to His religion, Islam), and has not laid upon you in religion any hardship, it is the religion of your father Ibrahim (Abraham) (Islamic Monotheism). It is He (Allah) Who has named you Muslims both before and in this (the Qur’an), that the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) may be a witness over you and you be witnesses over mankind! So perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), give Zakat and hold fast to Allah [i.e. have confidence in Allah, and depend upon Him in all your affairs] He is your Maula (Patron, Lord, etc.), what an Excellent Maula (Patron, Lord, etc.) and what an Excellent Helper!
Tafsir	The Command to worship Allah and engage in Jihad Allah chooses Messengers from the Angels and Messengers from Mankind Islam  is the Straight Path The Virtues of Muhammad’s Nation The Command to call upon Allah By His grace and kindness
Bottom Line	The title of the first tafsir listed above tells the whole story. If you doubt this, click through to the hadith linked in the parenthetical expression added by the translators.  Allah’s cause is making Islam dominate the entire world.

Islam: Religion of peace.	22:58 Those who emigrated in the Cause of Allah and after that were killed or died, surely, Allah will provide a good provision for them. And verily, it is Allah Who indeed is the Best of those who make provision.
Tafsir	The Great Reward for Those Who migrate in the Cause of Allah The Disbelievers will remain in Doubt and Confusion
Bottom Line	What did they do? They migrated in Allah’s cause. How would migration result in being killed?  Why would migration  bear a great reward? Migration is a code word for “fighting in  in Allah’s cause”, aka. Jihad.

Myth vs Fact #93

Myth	Fact
Islam: Religion of peace.	22:39 Permission to fight is given to those (i.e. believers against disbelievers), who are fighting them, (and) because they (believers) have been wronged, and surely, Allâh is Able to give them (believers) victory.
Tafsir	Permission to fight; this is the first Ayah of Jihad Good News of Allah’s Defence for the Believers
Bottom Line	Jihad in Islam  was ordained in three dispensations, related to the power possessed by Moe and his army: prohibited, defensive & offensive.  In this ayeh,  Allah is giving Moe permission to retaliate against Mekkah as his army grew after the migration to Medina.

Tafsir	Musa and how He was given the Tawrah
Bottom Line	Moe sets up Israel as a precedent for conquest and  sets a foundation for demonizing the Jews.

Islam: Religion of peace.	14:15 But they (the Messengers) sought victory and help [from their Lord (Allâh)], and every obstinate, arrogant dictator (who refuses to believe in the Oneness of Allâh) was brought to a complete loss and destruction.
Tafsir	Disbelievers reject Prophethood because the Messengers were Humans! Disbelieving Nations threaten Their Messengers with Expulsion How the Disbelievers sought to hasten on the Punishment, and what happened to Them
Bottom Line	Moe is co-opting Biblical Prophets as warlords, setting up precedents to rationalize his empire building.  He predicts victory for Islam and eternal damnation for his victims.
