“Islam is not my enemy!”

A Reuters story about the protest against Rep. King’s hearings into “radicalization” is illustrated by a photograph featuring a sign with this moronic message.

“Who would Jesus persecute? Islam is not my enemy!”

The only people Jesus persecuted were money changers whom he perceived to be corrupt.  Muhammad persecuted anyone who did not embrace his new cult. If you are not Muslim, Islam is your enemy. Consider the obvious meaning of J.M. Rodwell’s translation of At-Taubah 29

Make war upon such of those to whom the Scriptures have been given as believe not in God, or in the last day, and who forbid not that which God and His Apostle have forbidden, and who profess not the profession of the truth, until they pay tribute out of hand, and they be humbled.

Does that or does that not mean exactly what it says?  Lets consult Tafsir Ibn Kathir. The Order to fight People of the Scriptures until They give the Jizyah

[…] This honorable Ayah was revealed with the order to fight the People of the Book, after the pagans were defeated, the people entered Allah’s religion in large numbers, and the Arabian Peninsula was secured under the Muslims’ control. Allah commanded His Messenger to fight the People of the Scriptures, Jews and Christians, on the ninth year of Hijrah, and he prepared his army to fight the Romans and called the people to Jihad announcing his intent and destination.[…]

Did Moe confirm that, or is it an unauthorized rogue interpretation?

Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Number 387:
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.’ And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah.” Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, “O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?” He replied, “Whoever says, ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah’, faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have.”

Is that commandment an anachronism, limited in application to seventh century Arabia?  Lets consult the all purpose handbook of Shari’ah: Reliance of the Traveller.

O9.8: The Objectives of Jihad

The caliph (o25) makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians (N: provided he has first invited them to enter Islam in faith and practice, and if they will not, then invited them to enter the social order of Islam by paying the non-Muslim poll tax (jizya, def: o11.4) -which is the significance of their paying it, not the money itself-while remaining in their ancestral religions) (O: and the war continues) until they become Muslim or else pay the non-Muslim poll tax (O: in accordance with the word of Allah Most High,

“Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and who forbid not what Allah and His messenger have forbidden-who do not practice the religion of truth, being of those who have been given the Book-until they pay the poll tax out of hand and are humbled” (Koran 9.29),

the time and place for which is before the final descent of Jesus (upon whom be peace).  After his final coming, nothing but Islam will be accepted from them, for taking the poll tax is only effective until Jesus’ descent (upon him and our Prophet be peace), which is the divinely revealed law of Muhammad. The coming of Jesus does not entail a separate divinely revealed law, for he will rule by the law of Muhammad. As for the Prophet’s saying (Allah bless him and give him peace),

“I am the last, there will be no prophet after me,”

this does not contradict the final coming of Jesus (upon whom be peace), since he will not rule according to the Evangel, but as a follower of our Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) ).

How do we know that is still applicable? Another hadith holds the answer for those who are intelligent enough to learn.

Sunan Abu Dawud Book 14, Number 2526:

Narrated Anas ibn Malik:

The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: Three things are the roots of faith: to refrain from (killing) a person who utters, “There is no god but Allah” and not to declare him unbeliever whatever sin he commits, and not to excommunicate him from Islam for his any action; and jihad will be performed continuously since the day Allah sent me as a prophet until the day the last member of my community will fight with the Dajjal (Antichrist). The tyranny of any tyrant and the justice of any just (ruler) will not invalidate it. One must have faith in Divine decree.

‘Tain’t over ’till the last Muslim is dead.  Is it clear to you yet?

Morons object, declaring that most Muslims reject the jihad doctrine.  If they do, they are not believers, they are hypocrites.

2:10. In their hearts is a disease (of doubt and hypocrisy) and Allâh has increased their disease. A painful torment is theirs because they used to tell lies.

2:11. And when it is said to them: “Make not mischief on the earth,” they say: “We are only peacemakers.”

3:156. O you who believe! Be not like those who disbelieve (hypocrites) and who say to their brethren when they travel through the earth or go out to fight: “If they had stayed with us, they would not have died or been killed,” so that Allâh may make it a cause of regret in their hearts. It is Allâh that gives life and causes death. And Allâh is All­Seer of what you do.

Morons object, declaring that most Muslims reject the violent surahs. That does not cut the mustard, because Islam is not cafeteria Catholicism, it is all or nothing, a package deal.

2:85. After this, it is you who kill one another and drive out a party of you from their homes, assist (their enemies) against them, in sin and transgression. And if they come to you as captives, you ransom them, although their expulsion was forbidden to you. Then do you believe in a part of the Scripture and reject the rest? Then what is the recompense of those who do so among you, except disgrace in the life of this world, and on the Day of Resurrection they shall be consigned to the most grievous torment. And Allâh is not unaware of what you do.

13:36. Those to whom We have given the Book (such as ‘Abdullâh bin Salâm and other Jews who embraced Islâm), rejoice at what has been revealed unto you (i.e. the Qur’ân) , but there are among the Confederates (from the Jews and pagans) those who reject a part thereof. Say (O Muhammad ): “I am commanded only to worship Allâh (Alone) and not to join partners with Him. To Him (Alone) I call and to Him is my return.”

13:37. And thus have We sent it (the Qur’ân) down to be a judgement of authority in Arabic. Were you (O Muhammad ) to follow their (vain) desires after the knowledge which has come to you, then you will not have any Walî (protector) or defender against Allâh.

Morons object, declaring that “most Muslims are not violent”.  The Morons do not comprehend the Islamic concept of religious obligation.  Fard ayn is binding on all Muslims individually such as salat & zakat.  Fard kifaya is a communal obligation, binding on he entire Muslim community until a sufficient number have responded, which relieves the rest.

The obligation to mount a military expedition against kuffar in every year is fard kifaya. Jihad only becomes fard ayn when Dar ul Islam is invaded and the Muslims are in danger of being overrun.

O9.1: The Obligatory Character of Jihad

Jihad is a communal obligation (def: c3.2).  When enough people perform it to successfully accomplish it, it is no longer obligatory upon others (O: the evidence for which is the Prophet’s saying (Allah bless him and give him peace),

“He who provides the equipment for a soldier in jihad has himself performed jihad,”

and Allah Most High having said:

“Those of the believers who are unhurt but sit behind are not equal to those who fight in Allah’s path with their property and lives. Allah has preferred those who fight with their property and lives a whole degree above those who sit behind. And to each, Allah has promised great good” (Koran 4:95).

If none of those concerned perform jihad, and it does not happen at all, then everyone who is aware that it is obligatory is guilty of sin, if there was a possibility of having performed it. In the time of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) jihad was a communal obligation after his emigration (hijra) to Medina. As for subsequent times, there are two possible states in respect to non-Muslims.

The first is when they are in their own countries, in which case jihad (def: o9.8) is a communal obligation, and this is what our author is speaking of when he says, “Jihad is a communal obligation,” meaning upon the Muslims each year.

The second state is when non-Muslims invade a Muslim country or near to one, in which case jihad is personally obligatory (def: c3.2) upon the inhabitants of that country, who must repel the non-Muslims with whatever they can).

Morons object, swearing that they have Muslim friends, who are the best of neighbors, kind and gentle, like family. Those Morons are truly ignorant and deceived.

5:51. O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliyâ’ (friends, protectors, helpers, etc.), they are but Auliyâ’ to one another. And if any amongst you takes them as Auliyâ’, then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allâh guides not those people who are the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong­doers and unjust).

Tafsir Ibn Kathir has another clue for you.

[…]Allah said next,

﴿إِلاَ أَن تَتَّقُواْ مِنْهُمْ تُقَـةً﴾

(unless you indeed fear a danger from them) meaning, except those believers who in some areas or times fear for their safety from the disbelievers. In this case, such believers are allowed to show friendship to the disbelievers outwardly, but never inwardly. For instance, Al-Bukhari recorded that Abu Ad-Darda’ said, “We smile in the face of some people although our hearts curse them.” Al-Bukhari said that Al-Hasan said, “The Tuqyah is allowed until the Day of Resurrection.”[…] The Prohibition of Supporting the Disbelievers

If Islam is not your enemy, then you are one of them,  the enemy of all free men not yet enslaved to Satan.  The protest is an exemplar of playing the victim card.  Islam,. the predator, is purveying itself as the victim of persecution.

The investigation is not about Islam, no Congressman has the courage delve deeply into the damnable doctrines & practices of the war cult.  It is about “radicalization” and whether the Muslim community, its organizations and leaders are cooperating in the campaign against terrorism.

In fact, “radicalization” is another lie; a misrepresentation of Islam.  Because Islam wears the false mantle of religion, it is assumed to be anodyne & beneficent.  The assumption makes asses of us.  Islam is a complete way of life, encompassing economics, law and war as well as ‘religion’ which serves as a camouflage and troop motivator.

Commands to wage war against disbelievers are contained in Islam’s scripture, I showed you one of them along with its codification in Islamic law. Surah At-Taubah 111 exposes the relationship between Allah and the believers: they are his slaves, purchased to fight in his cause, killing and being killed.  Allah’s cause is to make Islam dominate; rule the world.

9:111. Verily, Allâh has purchased of the believers their lives and their properties; for the price that theirs shall be the Paradise. They fight in Allâh’s Cause, so they kill (others) and are killed. It is a promise in truth which is binding on Him in the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) and the Qur’ân. And who is truer to his covenant than Allâh? Then rejoice in the bargain which you have concluded. That is the supreme success .

9:33. It is He Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islâm), to make it superior over all religions even though the Mushrikûn (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh) hate (it).

Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 65:

Narrated Abu Musa:

A man came to the Prophet and asked, “A man fights for war booty; another fights for fame and a third fights for showing off; which of them fights in Allah’s Cause?” The Prophet said, “He who fights that Allah’s Word (i.e. Islam) should be superior, fights in Allah’s Cause.”

The factor that makes Muslims dangerous is belief, the test of which is hinted at in 9:111 and confirmed in 49:15.

49:15. Only those are the believers who have believed in Allah and His Messenger, and afterward doubt not but strive with their wealth and their lives for the Cause of Allah. Those! They are the truthful.

Believers kill; its what Islam is; what Muslims do because they believe in Allah’s threat and his promise.  If you believed that your eternal destiny depended on participation in jihad: the celestial bordello if you go to war and the fire if you don’t, which would you choose?

9:38. O you who believe! What is the matter with you, that when you are asked to march forth in the Cause of Allâh (i.e. Jihâd) you cling heavily to the earth? Are you pleased with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But little is the enjoyment of the life of this world as compared with the Hereafter.

9:39. If you march not forth, He will punish you with a painful torment and will replace you by another people, and you cannot harm Him at all, and Allâh is Able to do all things.

61:10. O You who believe! Shall I guide you to a commerce that will save you from a painful torment.

61:11.  That you believe in Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad ), and that you strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allâh with your wealth and your lives, that will be better for you, if you but know!

61:12. (If you do so) He will forgive you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow, and pleasant dwelling in Gardens of ‘Adn ­ Eternity [‘Adn (Edn) Paradise], that is indeed the great success.

The arrogant, condescending Morons who pretend to possess moral superiority over “Islamophobes” who “persecute” Muslims and “defame” Islam, cast those who understand Islam as “racists” & “bigots”.  In fact, they are the close minded bigots, who march in solidarity with the predators; identifying with them. The same Morons would have herded Jews into the “showers” for the Nazis in an earlier generation.

Reliance of the Traveller: Handbook of Shari’ah

This post is spurred by recent interest in tags related to Reliance of the Traveller.

Islamic law is derived from Muhammad’s recitation and example: Qur’an & Sunnah.  “Umdat as-Salik wa ‘Uddat an-Nasik (Reliance of the Traveller and Tools of the Worshipper, also commonly known by its shorter title Reliance of the Traveller) is a classical manual of fiqh for the Shafi’i school of Islamic jurisprudence.”  Here is the Wikipedia entry.

The book is about 1251 pages long. While you can search it at Muhaddith,  there are some limitations to the search. The text has been posted an an educational site, from which I took these quotations. This is a raw text file, and some of it is extremely RAW!  I suggest using the Ctrl F search function to find what you are seeking if you go here and delve into it: http://www.nku.edu/~kenneyr/Islam/Reliance.html .  That text version is not complete, it ends with Book V.

Islamic Bulletin has an extensive library which includes two versions of Reliance.

Maktabah has a Scribid version which is only 384 pages, far short of complete. If you want a hard copy, it is available from Amazon.

Shari’ah means “path to the life giving waters”,  it is a guide to obedience of Allah and emulation of Moe.  While much of it is arcane, such as the rules of  ritual purity and prayer,  it also  governs matters with more direct application to temporal affairs.

The laws concerning marriage, divorce, crime & punishments, and jihad are imposed upon non-Muslims where Allah’s writ runs.  Islamic law forbids charging or receiving interest.  Shari’ah compliant commerce involves the proscription of all interest and all traffic with Israel.  It also involves the payment of 2.5%  Zakat on financial transactions  as well as on increase in wealth.  What most westerners don’t know is that 1/8  of Zakat collections must be paid to the terrorists to finance their war against us.  It is illegal to give Zakat to Kuffar.

H8.7: The Eight Categories of Recipients

It is obligatory to distribute one’s zakat among eight categories of recipients (O: meaning that zakat goes to none besides them), one-eighth of the zakat to each category. (n: In the Hanafi school, it is valid for the giver to distribute his zakat to all of the categories, some of them, or to confine himself to just one of them (al-Lubab fi sharh al-Kitab(y88), 1.155). )

H8.17: Those Fighting for Allah

The seventh category is those fighting for Allah, meaning people engaged in Islamic military operations for whom no salary has been allotted in the army roster (O: but who are volunteers for jihad without remuneration).  They are given enough to suffice them for the operation, even if affluent; of weapons, mounts, clothing, and expenses (O: for the duration of the journey, round trip, and the time they spend there, even if prolonged. Though nothing has been mentioned here of the expense involved in supporting such people’s families during this period, it seems clear that they should also be given it).

It is not permissible to give zakat to a non-Muslim, or to someone whom one is obliged to support (def: m12.1), such as a wife or family member.

In the previous posts, Myth vs Fact 1 & 2, Allah’s most important imperatives to conquest were introduced. Because  8:39 &   9:29 were among the last Surahs in sequence of revelation, they abrogate earlier Surahs which conflict with them. For a more detailed explanation of Naskh, see Wikipedia.

2:256. There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in Tâghût and believes in Allâh, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allâh is All-Hearer, All-Knower.

10:99. And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed, all of them together. So, will you (O Muhammad ) then compel mankind, until they become believers.

Surah 2 is #87,  10 is #51,  8 is #88 and 9 is #113.

Allah said “Fight them until… only Allah is worshiped”  and “fight those who”… until they pay the Jizya” after making those more tolerant statements.

What did Moe say about this?

Why is this a problem? Because Allah’s book describes itself as:

3:7 and its tafsir are instructive.

3:7.  It is He Who has sent down to you (Muhammad ) the Book (this Qur’ân). In it are Verses that are entirely clear, they are the foundations of the Book [and those are the Verses of Al-Ahkâm (commandments, etc.), Al-Farâ’id (obligatory duties) and Al-Hudud (legal laws for the punishment of thieves, adulterers, etc.)]; and others not entirely clear. So as for those in whose hearts there is a deviation (from the truth) they follow that which is not entirely clear thereof, seeking Al-Fitnah (polytheism and trials, etc.), and seeking for its hidden meanings, but none knows its hidden meanings save Allâh. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: “We believe in it; the whole of it (clear and unclear Verses) are from our Lord.” And none receive admonition except men of understanding. (Tafsir At-Tabarî).

…The Muhkamat are the Ayat that explain the abrogating rulings, the allowed, prohibited, laws, limits, obligations and rulings that should be believed in and implemented.The Mutashabihat and Muhkamat Ayat

What did Moe do about the aggressive imperatives?

Sahih Muslim  Book 019, Number 4464:

It has been narrated on the authority of Abu Ishaq that ‘Abdullah b. Yazid went (out of the city) with people for offering” Istisqa” ‘ prayer (for rainfall). He offered two rak’ahs. Then he prayed for rain. That day I met Zaid b. Arqam. There was only one man between me and him (at that time). I asked him: How many military expeditions did the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) undertake? He said: Nineteen expeditions. I asked him: On how many expeditions did you accompany him? He said: On seventeen expeditions. I asked: Which was the first expedition he led? He answered: Dhat-ul-, Usair or ‘Ushair.

O-9.9

The caliph fights all other peoples until they become Muslim (O: because they are not a people with a Book, nor honored as such, and are not permitted to settle with paying the poll tax (jizya) ) (n: though according to the Hanafi school, peoples of all other religions, even idol worshippers, are permitted to live under the protection of the Islamic state if they either become Muslim or agree to pay the poll tax, the sole exceptions to which are apostates from Islam and idol worshippers who are Arabs, neither of whom has any choice but becoming Muslim (al-Hidaya sharh Bidaya al-mubtadi’ (y-21), 6.48-49) ).

Allah commanded making war. Moe made war. His successors make war in obedience to Allah; emulating Moe. Can this perpetual war be brought to an end?

Abu Dawud Book 14, Number 2526

No, Jihad continues from 610 to Doomsday. Can Islam be reformed, pacified?

10:64. For them are glad tidings, in the life of the present world (i.e. righteous dream seen by the person himself or shown to others), and in the Hereafter. No change can there be in the Words of Allâh, this is indeed the supreme success.

30:30. So set you (O Muhammad ) your face towards the religion of pure Islâmic Monotheism Hanifa (worship none but Allâh Alone) Allâh’s Fitrah (i.e. Allâh’s Islâmic Monotheism), with which He has created mankind. No change let there be in Khalq­illâh (i.e. the Religion of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism), that is the straight religion, but most of men know not. [Tafsir At­Tabarî, Vol 21, Page 41]

What would happen to Islam if it abandoned Jihad?

Abu Dawud Book 23, Number 3455: Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:

I heard the Apostle of Allah, (peace_be_upon_him) say: When you enter into the inah transaction, hold the tails of oxen, are pleased with agriculture, and give up conducting jihad (struggle in the way of Allah). Allah will make disgrace prevail over you, and will not withdraw it until you return to your original religion.

If Muslims abandon Jihad in favor of more productive occupations, Allah will curse them until they return to their original religion.  Now you know that Islam is a war cult, not a religion of peace. What will you do about it?

The domain name was intended to mimic the title of this post. Unfortunately, I am not a good typist. We’ll have to live with it.

Everyone knows that “Islam is a great religion of peace.” . Unfortunately, they know something that is factually false. By design, Islam’s primary mission was the personal emolument & empowerment of its founder. Its mission was mercenary, and its method was martial.

The proof of those assertions is in Islam’s canon of scripture, tradition & jurisprudence. This blog’s purpose is to make its readers familiar with the essential evidence and to make it easy for readers to explore the context for themselves.

The title of this post is justified by hadith which depict subornation of murder. These oral traditions were judged authentic by the most trusted of hadith collectors. [Emphasis added for clarity.]

Sahih Bukhari Volume 3, Book 45, Number 687:

Narrated Jabir bin ‘Abdullah:

Allah’s Apostle said, “Who would kill Ka’b bin Al-Ashraf as he has harmed Allah and His Apostle ?” Muhammad bin Maslama (got up and) said, “I will kill him.” So, Muhammad bin Maslama went to Ka’b and said, “I want a loan of one or two Wasqs of food grains.” Ka’b said, “Mortgage your women to me.” Muhammad bin Maslama said, “How can we mortgage our women, and you are the most handsome among the Arabs?” He said, “Then mortgage your sons to me.” Muhammad said, “How can we mortgage our sons, as the people will abuse them for being mortgaged for one or two Wasqs of food grains? It is shameful for us. But we will mortgage our arms to you.” So, Muhammad bin Maslama promised him that he would come to him next time. They (Muhammad bin Maslama and his companions came to him as promised and murdered him. Then they went to the Prophet and told him about it.
